Coming from a very isolated area on Sumba Elan never went to school before he came to Hammu Pangia. He is very thankful for the opportunity he gets through Hammu Pangia to go to school. Elan is able to read and write now and he is working very hard to leave primary school to join secondary school next year.
He likes to play soccer with his friends and playing games. He loves to make jokes and when there is laughter in the house, you will always hear his laughter above it.
